Product Introduction

Polyvinyl alcohol is a water-based adhesive with excellent performance; typical forms include flakes, granules, or floccules. It is poorly soluble in cold water and generally requires heating to dissolve, which significantly limits its range of applications. Micro-milling and surface treatment can enhance its cold-water solubility; however, its thermoplastic nature makes milling and processing relatively challenging. Our company employs a unique liquid-ammonia cryogenic cooling process to ensure uniform particle size after milling, thereby imparting outstanding water solubility to the material.

Polyvinyl alcohol is produced by polymerizing vinyl acetate to form polyvinyl acetate, which is then saponified under varying alkaline conditions to yield polyvinyl alcohols with different degrees of alcoholysis. Cold-soluble polyvinyl alcohol powder is manufactured by deep-cold grinding of partially hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol and is a water-soluble, environmentally friendly white solid powder.
