Products

Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC)

Mingwang-brand hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) is a nonionic cellulose ether produced by subjecting refined cotton, a natural polymeric material, to a series of chemical processing steps.

Hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC)

Hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) is a nonionic cellulose ether produced by subjecting natural polymeric cellulose to a series of chemical processes.

Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC)

CMC is the most widely used and highest-volume water-soluble cellulose ether, with core functions of thickening, stabilization, water retention, film formation, and adhesion. It is extensively employed in industries such as food, pharmaceuticals, construction materials, petroleum, and personal care products.

Carboxymethyl Starch (CMS)

Aqueous solutions exhibit excellent thickening, suspending, and emulsion-stabilizing properties.

Redispersible Latex Powder (VAE)

Redispersible latex powder is a water-soluble dispersible powder, a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate, with polyvinyl alcohol serving as the protective colloid.

Polyvinyl Alcohol Powder (PVA)

Polyvinyl alcohol is a water-based adhesive with excellent performance; typical forms include flakes, granules, or flocs. It is poorly soluble in cold water and generally requires heating to dissolve, which significantly limits its range of applications.

Hydroxypropyl Starch Ether (HPS)

Hydroxypropyl starch ether (HPS) is a white, fine powder obtained by modifying natural plant-based raw materials, subjecting them to a high-degree etherification reaction, and then spray-drying; it contains no plasticizers.

Polypropylene Crack-Resistant Fiber (PP)

Polypropylene fibers are produced by thermally extruding 100% polypropylene resin pellets through a continuous manufacturing process. All performance indicators meet or exceed those of comparable imported products.

HPMC

Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) is widely used in industries such as construction materials, coatings, synthetic resins, ceramics, textiles, agriculture, cosmetics, and tobacco. HPMC is a nonionic cellulose ether produced from refined cotton—a natural polymeric material—through a series of chemical processes.

HEC

Hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) is a nonionic cellulose ether produced from natural polymeric cellulose through a series of chemical processes. It appears as an odorless, tasteless, and non-toxic white to off-white powder or granules that are soluble in cold water, forming a clear, viscous solution.

CMC

CMC is the most widely used and highest-volume water-soluble cellulose ether, with core functions of thickening, stabilization, water retention, film formation, and adhesion. It is extensively employed in the food, pharmaceutical, construction materials, petroleum, and personal care industries, among others.

CMS

Solubility: Soluble in cold water, forming a transparent or translucent colloid; insoluble in organic solvents.

VAE

A high-performance water-soluble emulsion produced via emulsion polymerization of vinyl acetate and ethylene. This environmentally friendly polymeric compound is widely used in construction materials, adhesives, coatings, and other applications.

PVA

Water-soluble polymeric polymers exhibiting excellent adhesion, film-forming properties, and emulsifying capabilities.

HPS

HPS cellulose is a high-purity, highly substituted hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) specifically formulated for industrial applications, offering outstanding water-retention, thickening, and film-forming properties.

PP

Polypropylene fibers are characterized by a small diameter, large specific surface area, excellent dispersibility in cement-based materials, resistance to chemical corrosion by acids, alkalis, and salts, a relatively high melting point, and non-toxicity.

Building Materials and Architectural Coatings

In putty, mortar, and self leveling materials, HPMC delays water evaporation through an efficient water locking mechanism, ensuring sufficient hydration of cement and improving bond strength and crack resistance.

mortar

mortar

HPMC can significantly improve the construction performance of mortar products, with good viscosity and ductility. After adding cellulose ether, it has good smoothness, dispersibility, and water retention, thereby enhancing the bonding strength of the substrate.

Oil drilling shale hydration expansion

PAC forms a dense mud cake in the saltwater system, inhibiting shale hydration expansion; CMC relies on molecular chain winding to increase viscosity, but is easily affected by electrolytes; Due to the temperature limitation of gel, HPMC is often used as an auxiliary thickening agent rather than a main fluid loss reducer.

Printing paste is the preferred choice for modern high-precision printing due to its high paste yield and strong shear thinning characteristics; Although HEC has good suspension, it can easily cause blurry patterns; CMC has low cost but poor electrolyte resistance, and is often used in non sensitive printing systems.

In chemical systems, CMS can replace some CMC as emulsifiers and stabilizers, especially suitable for low-cost water-based systems. The carboxymethyl group in its molecular structure endows it with good hydrophilicity and can be used in pesticide suspensions, detergent thickening, and other scenarios. However, due to its susceptibility to degradation by alpha amylase, its long-term storage stability is lower than that of cellulose ethers.

Main applications of carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC)

The high-end alternative product to carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) is polyanionic cellulose (PAC), which is also an anionic cellulose ether. It boasts a higher degree and uniformity of substitution, shorter molecular chains, and a more stable molecular structure.

What factors can affect the viscosity of hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose

workability. However, when the concentration of cellulose ether solution is low and its viscosity is small, it exhibits the characteristics of Newtonian fluid. As the concentration increases, the solution gradually exhibits the characteristics of pseudoplastic fluid, and the higher the concentration, the more pronounced the pseudoplastic behavior becomes.

The advantages and functions of hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose in building materials

Hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose is particularly widely used in building materials and is known as the industrial monosodium glutamate. It is commonly referred to as HPMC, which is a tasteless, odorless, white powdered substance that can quickly dissolve in cold water, forming a transparent viscous solution after dissolution.
